The Villa Workspace is an office hotel in Copenhagen, set in a listed villa right by the Lakes. Companies get their own lockable, furnished office for between two and twelve people, combined with shared facilities and lounge areas that are free to use.
The villa holds 30 private offices and is designed for companies that want a permanent base of their own. The door can be closed, your things can stay put, and phone calls and meetings can take place in private. At the same time you are part of the house and can use the lounge areas and meeting rooms whenever you need them.
Many of the companies stay at The Villa for years. Needs change along the way, so it is not unusual for a company to move to a larger or smaller office within the house. The tenants include consultants, lawyers, architects and smaller companies with clients coming to visit.
Meeting rooms, fast internet, electricity, heating and cleaning are included in the rent, so your time goes into the work rather than into running a lease.
The Villa Workspace is two minutes from Forum Metro on the border between Nørrebro and the city centre, with Peblinge Lake as its nearest neighbour. That keeps both client meetings and the daily commute simple: the metro reaches Kongens Nytorv in four minutes, and the cycle routes along the Lakes pass right outside the door.

The Villa Workspace has 30 private, lockable offices in different sizes with room for between 2 and 12 workstations. The offices are furnished and move-in ready, and several look out over Peblinge Lake.
You choose the office that fits your needs today. If those needs change, there are good options for moving within the house to a larger or smaller office. Several of our tenants have been in the house for many years and changed office along the way.
You get your own key fob and have access to the house around the clock, weekends and public holidays included.

The house
Two historic villas by the Lakes
The Villa Workspace is at Ewaldsgade 7-9: two historic villas overlooking Peblinge Lake. Ewaldsgade 7 was built in 1863, and Ewaldsgade 9 in 1858 by the Danish architect J.D. Herholdt. The villas were listed in 1978 and are today arranged as one modern office house.
The property has been fully renovated in collaboration with architect Klaus Boyer, with respect for the original architecture. Herringbone parquet, tall panelling, large windows and the classic rooms are preserved, while the house is at the same time set up for a modern working day.
Today The Villa Workspace holds 30 private offices in different sizes, together with shared lounge areas, four meeting rooms and a restaurant on the ground floor. The meeting rooms can be booked freely by the house's tenants and are included in the rent.
The house is run personally, not as part of a nationwide office-hotel chain. That means we know both the house and the companies based here.
