The house sits on the border between Nørrebro and the city centre, with the lake as its nearest neighbour and a two-minute walk to Forum Metro. It is an address that works both for someone arriving by train from north of the city and for someone cycling in from Vesterbro or Østerbro.
It is one of those locations that make logistics disappear: clients find their way easily, employees can get here from anywhere in the city, and the walk around the lake starts right outside the door. The address is easy to give over the phone, and most people have passed the Lakes before, so nobody gets lost on the way to a meeting. For a company that receives clients this is an underrated detail: the easier you are to reach, the more often the meeting happens at your place, and the more often the client sees the house you work in.

Getting to the house
- Metro
- Forum St. (M1/M2) is a 2-minute walk from the house. From there it is 4 minutes to Kongens Nytorv, 12 to Copenhagen Central Station and a direct line to the airport. The metro runs around the clock, including when a meeting overruns, and departures are frequent enough that nobody has to plan around a timetable.
- Bike
- The bike routes along the Lakes and Åboulevard pass the house. There is bike parking at the villa and shower rooms inside, so the morning ride does not have to be planned around.
- Bus
- Bus lines on Åboulevard and H.C. Ørsteds Vej stop a few hundred metres from the door and connect to Nørreport and Frederiksberg.
- Car
- Private parking at the house is available as an optional extra. There is also paid street parking in the surrounding streets, and the approach roads from Lyngbyvejen and Bispeengbuen are close by.
The neighbourhood: the Lakes, Nørrebro and the city centre
The house sits where three of Copenhagen's best neighbourhoods meet. The Lakes provide calm, light and walks; Nørrebro delivers the city's densest offering of cafés and restaurants; and the city centre, with clients, advisors and the courts, is ten minutes away on foot across Dronning Louises Bro. It is one of the few addresses in the city where you can hold a meeting, walk around the lake and be back at your desk inside an hour. The Lakes are also what keeps the house quiet: there is water and there are trees along one side of the building, and that softens both the noise and the pace in a way an office floor on an arterial road never approaches. At the same time you are not cut off: Nørrebrogade, Forum and the city centre are all within ten minutes on foot, so the house is quiet without being remote. That combination is rare in Copenhagen, where quiet usually means distance from everything, and where a central address usually means traffic outside the window.
The lunch meeting, the coffee meeting and the Friday beer can all be handled in the neighbourhood, a few steps from the house.
Inside the house
The villa itself holds most of what a working day requires: four meeting rooms, shower rooms, 24-hour access and a café on the ground floor. The rest, groceries, training, pharmacy, is in the neighbourhood around Forum and Nørrebrogade, all within a few minutes on foot. Whether it is lunch with a client or somewhere for the department's Christmas dinner, the choice within walking distance is wider than in most parts of the city. Head the other way and the lakeside promenade, with benches and a running route, starts at the door, and it is used heavily by the tenants for walking meetings and breaks alike. In summer it is one of the most cited reasons tenants stay year after year, even when cheaper square metres could be found further out of town.
